We will have the exhibition of Kiyokazu Tsuda who makes glass works in Nara. It’s been a year from his exhibition held a year ago. Besides being good for daily use, his works have dignified atmosphere.We exhibit his standard works such as plates, bowls, cups, and bottles.

Exhibition_vol.54Shingo Tsukuda: Woodworking
Oct. 24 – Nov. 18, 2015
After he had worked at a furniture factory and a carpentry shop for 15 years, he became independent as a woodworking artist in 2004 in Kyoto. He makes works adapting to modern life as well as keeps tradition.We will exhibit his standard trays, containers and brand new works.He will at our gallery on Oct 24th, and we will serve coffee with his works.

Masaru Kawai is a wooden work artist in Kamo City, Gifu.
The most of his works are made of conifer and not finished,
so you can feel appearance and breathing of wood as it is.
There are utensils for tea, trays, and spoons made of bamboo
in the exhibition. Please enjoy his neat and pure works.

The clothes and stoles protect us also from the chill.
You can enjoy it comfortably by washing it with your hands.
The cotton khadi used hand spun and woven thread will be on display.

We will have the exhibition of Kazushige Tsuchida working in Wajima city, Ishikawa. After he graduated from the university, he started to study lacquerware under Akito Akagi and became independent in 2012. From his teacher, he has taken over the technique and the idea of making lacquerware for daily life.
Exhibition_vol.50YOSHIDA YOSHIMICHI: BAMBOO CRAFTS
Yoshimichi Yoshida makes bamboo craft-works in Azumino, Nagano. His woven works look subtle, but also have commanding strength. His works have clear atmosphere and we can feel his deep affection to bamboo that is familiar to us Japanese. There are flower vessels, baskets, and tea utensils.

This is the first exhibition of Tomoya Arai in Kansai region. He makes wooden works in the depth of the mountains of Kochi. We exhibit spoons and ladles having nice touch, chiseled and lacquered cups and bowls that are recently put efforts by him.

Maiko Miyaoka makes blue and white ceramics in Oume, Tokyo. She started to make pottery inspired by “Old Imari Ware" and "Old Blue Underglaze". We can feel nostalgia and freshness at same time from her works. Her vessel is perfect in daily life but also for special occasions to make a elegant touch on table.
